The leader of Lincolnshire CC has urged developers to ‘think twice' about building more wind turbines in his county.
The council's executive voted in favour of a tougher stance on wind farms on 6 June, including a presumption against new developments. District councils have the final say regarding planning permission for any new wind turbines, but Lincolnshire's latest policy statement calls for no wind farms within six miles of any village containing 10 or more homes.
