Hammersmith and Fulham LBC believes its achieved the biggest council tax cut in England,with a 3.75% reduction in average bills for householders.

Hammersmith and Fulham LBC believes it has achieved the biggest council tax cut in England, with a 3.75% reduction in average bills for householders, making them £243 better off compared with the average Londoner, whose council tax bill has risen by £73 over the past five years.

Council leader Stephen Greenhalgh said: ‘The council has been doing its bit by slashing overhead costs.'
