Westminster City Council is planning to join its tri-borough partner, Hammersmith and Fulham LBC, in creating a domestic violence court, as part of a local campaign to tackle the issue.

The council aims to confront all forms of domestic abuse – including physical, sexual and cultural oppression – under a ‘whole family' approach, after finding that 50% of social worker case loads in the borough feature domestic violence.
