Bradford victory for 'indefatigable' George

Following the success of George Galloway in the by-election,the Respect Party will field a larger number of candidates in the local elections.

The Respect Party is expected to field a larger number of candidates in next month's local government elections, following the sensational success of former Labour MP George Galloway in last week's Bradford West by-election.

Mr Galloway beat Bradford City Council deputy leader, Labour councillor Imran Hussain, in last week's by-election – by a margin of 10,000 votes.
