Breaking boundaries Calls have been made to remove the boundaries between the NHS and local government to devolve powers to community level. Improving services, improving governance, an LGA-commissioned report, calls for neighbourhoods to be given more control over health and social care budgets. A spokesman said decision-making and spending by local government and the NHS must be brought closer together.
