Brent LBC has written to health secretary, Patricia Hewitt, voicing concerns over proposed budget cuts from Brent Primary Care Trust. The letter highlights that the council may have to deal with ‘cost shunting' in the region of £9m in 2007/08 to continue to provide services to vulnerable residents of Brent.
