The £3bn Lothian Pension Fund has reappointed Standard Life Investments to manage its property exposure. The fund currently owns 27 properties in the UK and it has also appointed Portfolio Evaluation to measure performance and risk of the overall fund and its investment managers. Portfolio Evaluation replaces HSBC, whose contract with the fund, a division of Edinburgh City Council, expired in 2007. The fund adminsters the local government pension scheme in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
