Bury MBC has signed a new two-year sponsorship deal with Bury Football Club. The council has decided to continue sponsoring the club until the end of the 2008/9 season, and will also hold a ‘football in the community' competition in the summer for clubs across the borough. ‘Our partnership with Bury FC has and will continue to ensure there is a sharp focus on one of the council's key corporate priorities to promote health and wellbeing,' said council leader, Wayne Campbell.
