Support services group Amey has bought an 80% stake in Herefordshire Jarvis Services. The strategic service partnership provides highways and traffic services, civic and school catering, grounds maintenance and other support services. ‘This is a great acquisition for Amey and is a key part of our strategy to develop long-term, and to-end service partnerships in the local government market,' said Amey chief executive, Mel Ewell.
