Hammersmith & Fulham LBC leader and London Councils chair Cllr Stephen Cowan has called on every council to develop their own place-based economic plans.
Speaking at an international economic forum arranged by the London borough he said: ‘Our national economies are grappling with American and Chinese dominance over technological innovation, investment and manufacturing. The challenge now, and for decades to come, is how to respond.
