Camden LBC chief executive, Moira Gibb, believes her staff are key to ensuring major savings throughout the council, as she tells Jamie Hailstone

The words ‘better' and ‘cheaper' have a special place in the heart of Camden LBC chief executive, Moira Gibb. The council announced last week it needs to save £14m from its budgets next year to balance the books, and the local authority has launched a long-term initiative, called the Better and cheaper programme to reduce costs and change working practices.
