Canadian government websites cannot have taken such a pounding since we were all trying to figure out how to get round that “besty valuey” thing in the ‘90’s. Then, they were popular because they had the inside track on fundamental reviews and spent the decade reviewing much of their Federal government. Fortunately for us, the Canadian’s have been ruthlessly prioritising and updating their websites appears to have lost out which means that we can tap into nearly two decades of their experience by going over to the Trasury Board of Canada, Secretariat policy suite here . One document that looks just the sort of thing that the new government over here will cannibalise for ideas is this all about what they call “Common Service Organisations” (simililar to shared services) and how to review them.
