Westminster City Council's trading standards team has seized thousands of fake Olympic items – including fake London 2012 condoms – since the start of the games.

Goods seized are estimated to be worth more than £10,000, and the central London borough has a team working around the clock to prevent tourists and day-trippers from being conned into buying shoddy goods.
