Croydon LBC is stepping up its campaign to persuade its staff to not drive to work, with figures showing the number has fallen to 38% from 57% in 1999.
A survey answered by 2000 staff shows that 42% use public transport and 10% walk while just over half live within walking or cycling distance of work.
