Cardiff City Council's chief executive to leave council

The chief executive of Cardiff City Council, Jon House, last week announced his decision to leave the council after almost three years in the post.

The chief executive of Cardiff City Council, Jon House, last week announced his decision to leave the council after almost three years in the post.

He will take on a new role in the private sector at PwC. Mr House said: 'I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as chief executive of Cardiff City Council and have over the last three years worked with some fantastic staff and councillors. I have also appreciated the support from local partners in the city, surrounding councils and the Welsh Government.'
