Cardiff CC has denied media reports that its new long-term strategic partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will result in outsourcing jobs. The council said it would not be transferring staff to the private sector and would work closely with the firm to benefit from an exchange of knowledge and experience. Cllr Mark Stephens, cabinet member for finance, said: ‘This is very much a partnership to ensure staff both here and in TCS learn valuable new skills from each other.'
