Local authorities risk flouting their responsibilities to provide careers services to more than one million jobless young people, according to claims made by Unison.
The union warns the service in England is heading for meltdown, with 97.3% of councils planning to make cuts to Connexions services this year, with East Sussex scrapping the entire service in August.
