Cambridgeshire CC has launched a major consultation to shape its spending plans for the next financial year. The public, partner agencies and organisations are being asked to give their spending preferences, assuming council tax is raised by 5%. It comes as the council is singled out for praise by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy for best practice in contract regulations.
