A controversial decision by Bath and North East Somerset Council to turn down a potential government cash pot of £1.4m to improve telecommunications infrastructure in the district, is to be reviewed.

The administration was worried about the level of council investment needed to unlock the Government's matched-funding for the proposals, which involved teaming up with neighbouring councils to bid for money from the Broadband UK initiative.
