The RAC Foundation has warned that the number of casualties on Britain's roads will rise as councils cut back on highways spending.
The motoring organisation published a joint report today, entitled Tackling the deficit: Where next for road safety, with the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS).
