Category Manager Care and Commissioning

Working as a Category Manager as part of the Procurement Service, you will be responsible for Care and Commissioning. Our Care and Commissioning category is focused on young and older people in need of all forms of care services.

Your key responsibilities will be to work with our clients in the council for the commissioning of service providers and the award of contracts that will ensure the outcomes required are achieved.

You'll need to be experienced in the commissioning and procurement of care services to young and older people, and knowledgeable of the challenges faced by local authorities and service providers in providing care services in the community. You should be able to demonstrate your influence and success to achieve financial savings and efficiencies driven out by your category management approach.
