The number of music CDs being lent out by British libraries has fallen 42% over the last five years, according to a survey by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).

Book issues over the same period fell by just 4.2%, and the most visited library in the country was the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium library.
