Ex-CE rejects Harrow claim

Joyce Markham has refuted claims her contract was ‘frustrated', leading to no payout when she left Harrow LBC.

A council source told The MJ a costly outlay to Ms Markham, the former chief executive, had been avoided, after claiming a frustrated contract (The MJ, 26 October, 2006). Ms Markham had been on sick leave since March before her departure in September.
