Challenge banks, urge fund managers

The Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) has issued voting alerts on both HSBC and the Royal Bank of Scotland ahead of their annual general meetings.

At the HSBC meeting, the forum has recommended shareholders vote against the bank's chairman, Douglas Flint – while at the Royal Bank of Scotland, the LAPFF has said that members should oppose the report and accounts.
