The Local Government Association has announced a series of changes to its top team, including several departures and the arrival of the deputy chief executive. Deputy chief executive, Jo Miller, who was appointed at the end of last year, will take up her post full-time from 1 September after maternity leave. She is currently working on a part-time basis. Director of campaigns, Chris Lawrence-Pietroni, will leave at the end of this month to study for a masters in public administration at Harvard University. Policy programme director for heath, Anne McDonald, will return to the Department of Health, following her secondment. Edward Welsh, programme director for media and campaigns, and Alan Wardle, programme director for public affairs, will both leave during the summer.
