Two chartered institutes have announced plans to work together to champion the internal auditing profession within the public services.

The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) are set to work together in developing a joint framework internal audit compliant across government.
