The Chewing Gum Action Group has announced funding for 15 councils across England to help deal with the sticky problem of gum litter. Local authorities, including Bristol, Colchester, Plymouth and Lewisham, will receive money towards a summer campaign, using a mixture of advertising, alternative disposal, and enforcement measures to reduce gum litter.
