More than 16 tonnes of chicken breasts have been seized and destroyed by South Ribble BC. The council's food safety team found the pallets of poultry during an inspection of a local cold store earlier this year. The meat was not correctly packaged or sealed in line with government legislation, and so it was destroyed.
