The chief executive of South Cambridgeshire DC, John Ballantyne, is stepping down, after a management restructuring at the authority. Mr Ballantyne will take early retirement in June. The council has also accepted an offer made by director of development services, David Hussell, to take voluntary redundancy. The council's management team is currently being slimmed down from four to two to cut costs.
