Local council chiefs have rejected warnings from the sector over the Government's decision to divert key infrastructure funding to town and parish councils.

The Association of Directors of Environment, Economy Planning and Transport (ADEPT) expressed ‘deep concern' at ministers' plans to transfer 25% of community infrastructure levy (CIL) revenues to parish and town councils from this spring.
