St Helens MBC has appointed consultant Regeneris to develop plans for it to become a regional centre of choice for new housing, investment and tourism. The company has been asked to maximise the impact of the £13.4m Local Enterprise Growth Initiative and revise the council's 10-year City Growth Strategy for future development, which was first published in 2002.
