Chorley BC has signed a deal with the Public Funding Regulatory Association (PFRA) to regulate the number of nuisance charity collectors – colloquially known as ‘chuggers' – in the town.

The local authority has signed a site management agreement limiting the number of fundraisers in the town centre and restricting their activities.
