CIPFA, the UK public accounting body, has modified its successful financial management model in an attempt to get a foothold in the north American market.
Senior CIPFA staff have teamed up with the US-based Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) – which represents state, provincial and local government staff in America – to adapt the model for use ‘over the pond'.
