Who'd be a chief executive these days? Derek Myers, the new chief executive at both Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith and Fulham in the capital, has more than his fair share of work on his plate. Suffolk CC, meanwhile, will pay Andrea Hill's successor, Deborah Cadman, a paltry ‘Pickles friendly' £155,000 salary. It's the way the world is going, you know. So who would knowingly step up to face the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune?
