City to tackle alcohol abuse Westminster City Council and the local Primary Care Trust have set out a new strategy to combat alcohol misuse. The strategy was set up after figures revealed 32.5% of men and 24% of women in Westminster were exceeding daily alcohol consumption levels. It aims to reduce alcohol-related crime and improve treatment and support for those affected by the problems of alcohol misuse.
