In this final meeting of the Network wanted to look beyond the immediate term, to consider the long term challenges that local government will face.

In particular, the Network discussed with Andrew Stunell MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, what the current and future context will mean for the future of councils, service delivery, capacity building and how this will have an impact on the relationship between the citizen with the state.
