Clackmannanshire Council's director of services to people, Dave Jones, has been named as the successor to chief executive Keir Bloomer, who retires in May. Mr Jones joined Clackmannanshire Council in July 2001, from Sunderland City Council, and took on the-then newly-created post of director of services to people. ‘Keir is a very hard act to follow,' said Mr Jones. ‘I am thoroughly at home in Clackmannanshire and delighted to be able to service the community in this new capacity.'
