A new joint venture between Devon CC and facilities-management provider, Norse Commercial Services, will take responsibility for cleaning and catering services across schools and civic buildings.

The deal will see Devon Norse set up in September to deliver catering services to 220 schools, and 1,500 staff transferred to the newly-formed company. Devon CC leader, John Hart, said: ‘This will help develop the business to everyone's benefit.'
