Carmarthenshire CC has agreed to award ‘without prejudice' cash settlements to a group of cleaners and care workers who have spent years fighting for equal pay.
Documents obtained by Welsh Assembly member Rhodri Glyn Thomas and MP Jonathan Edwards indicate the council has agreed to settle equal pay claims with eligible female staff and has set aside cash from its budget to meet the costs.
