Former foreign and home secretary Sir James Cleverly has returned to the Conservative front bench as shadow local government secretary.
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, who reshuffled her top team on Tuesday, has asked him to cover the housing, communities and local government brief, shadowing Angela Rayner.
