After many months of scrutiny by our local government ministerial team it's a little gratifying to see the balance being redressed a little bit by the Mirror.I have no doubt that the explanation for this expenditure is entirely above board and the story is probably about as fair as some of the ludicrous scare stories about local government that have appeared in the press of late.I know a number of senior civil servants at CLG & I must admit to a small titter at the thought of them at a London burlesque bar.
