Ministers have outlined a pipeline of future government contracts worth £84bn as part of the coalition's industrial strategy for growth and business support.
Four new industry sectors have been added to the calendar of forthcoming procurements, which include construction (£31bn), IT (£9.1bn), professional services (£7.3bn) and the under-fire welfare-to-work programme (£4.8bn).
