Dr Kevan Collins has stepped down as chief executive of Tower Hamlets LBC after just two years

More council chiefs announced their departures last week, in a move which backs up recent claims from chief executive bodies ALACE and SOLACE which says a council chief executive leaves every two weeks.

Dr Kevan Collins has stepped down as chief executive of Tower Hamlets LBC after just two years, to become the first leader of the Education Endowment Foundation, a charity formed to improve educational outcomes for children from disadvantaged communities at primary and secondary schools.
