Cabinet member Lieutenant Col Tex Pemberton is standing down from West Sussex CC, after more than seven years looking after roads and transport issues. ‘I think this is a good time to hand over the reins,' said Col Pemberton. ‘It is a decision I made about 18 months ago because I feel that it is time to step aside and make way for a fresh approach from a younger member who will need to bring the very necessary enthusiasm, commitment and energy to the role.'
