Eastleigh BC and DC Leisure have teamed up to build a power plant to house an energy-saving combined heat and power unit. The plant, being built at the Fleming Park Leisure Centre, which is managed by the private firm, will supply energy to the centre as well as the council's civic offices. Officers at the town hall have agreed a contract with Utilicom for the construction and operation of the £287,000 scheme.
