Combined authority hires finance chief

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has confirmed Claire Nye as its chief finance officer.

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has confirmed Claire Nye as its chief finance officer.

Nye, who has been acting in the role on an interim basis since July, has helped plug a near £120m budget deficit for the coming year.
