As every exhausted parent and local newspaper photographer knows it is Comic Relief this week (15 March – Ed!) and councils up and down the country have been gearing up to do 'something funny for money'.
Among the many local government types getting in the fundraising spirit is Merton LBC leader, Cllr Stephen Alambritis who was snapped this week outside his local TK Maxx sporting this year's Stella McCartney designed Comic Relief T-shirt.
