A police and crime commissioner (PCC) who attended a protest against asylum seekers moving onto her patch has threatened legal action after councillors censured her.

Sussex's police and crime panel passed a vote of no confidence in Conservative PCC Katy Bourne after she attended the protest at Crowborough, where the Home Office plans to house more than 500 asylum seekers.
