Catering firm, Compass, has predicted its revenue in the UK and Ireland will fall by 1% this year.

Catering firm, Compass, has predicted its revenue in the UK and Ireland will fall by 1% this year, while business continues to grow across the rest of the world.

The international company announced in its latest trading update that revenue was likely to increase by 7% in North America, and by 9% in the rest of the world, but would decline slightly in Britain. The firm said new business remained solid, but the difficult economic conditions had led to a ‘modest contraction' in volumes.
