Consortium embarks upon 15-year project

Sheffield City Council has signed contracts with Keepmoat and the Great Places Housing Group to form a new consortium, which will build 2,300 new homes.

Sheffield City Council has signed contracts with Keepmoat and the Great Places Housing Group to form a new consortium, which will build 2,300 new homes.

The Sheffield Housing Company will build the new homes over the next 15 years and regenerate neighbourhoods across the city. Building work is expected to start in July 2012 and the scheme will include a mixture of privately-owned, shared ownership and rented accommodation.
